Most AI job tools optimise for applications sent; ProPersona optimises for whether you are actually ready.

Do I need a CV to start?

No. You can start with no CV and build your persona purely through guided training questions. If you do upload a CV, ProPersona extracts the skeleton (roles, dates, titles) and then asks targeted questions to add the substance behind it. CV upload accepts files up to 3 MB.

How long before ProPersona is useful?

Your persona moves through three maturity levels as you train: Emerging, Developing, then Established. Chat and memory work from the start. The Analyse Fit tool and the Signal Card unlock once your persona reaches Established, because a fit verdict based on too little history would not be trustworthy.

How does the job fit analysis work?

You paste or link a job description and ProPersona scores it against your trained career history. It returns a percentage fit and a plain verdict, for example "Prep to compete" when a role sits above your current level. Alongside the score it shows the specific gaps behind that number, the strongest stories you already have for that role, the interview questions you should expect, and the option to generate a tailored CV. Job descriptions up to 5,000 characters are supported, and you can attach up to 5 images of a posting.

Yes, and that is deliberate. ProPersona gives an honest read rather than encouragement. A role above your level is reported as such, because knowing which stretch roles are genuinely reachable, and what it would take to close the gap, is more useful than a flattering score.

The Memory Workspace is the persistent knowledge graph behind your persona. Every training answer, story and career moment is stored there as structured memory covering skills, projects, values and results, and it deepens with every session. Your persona answers from that memory, which is why its responses reference what you actually did rather than generic examples.

Yes. From a job fit analysis you can generate a CV tailored to that specific role, drawn from your trained history and aimed at the gaps the analysis identified. Generating one uses a tool credit.

Yes. You can speak to your persona and it coaches you aloud, which suits mock interview practice. Free accounts get 10 minutes of voice per day and Pro accounts get 30 minutes per day, both resetting at midnight local time.

Yes. You can run up to 5 personas on one account, for example one per role you are pursuing. Each persona keeps its own memory and voice, so preparation for one track does not contaminate another.

Yes. Interview practice gives role-specific questions with STAR-format coaching and feedback, all grounded in your actual experience. The intent is that "tell me about a time" stops being a writing exercise and becomes recall of something you have already articulated.

How do I cancel Pro?

ProPersona Pro is an auto-renewing App Store subscription, so it is cancelled through your Apple account subscription settings rather than inside the app. Cancelling stops future renewals and you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period.

Is my career data used to train AI models?

No. Your training data is never used to train shared or general AI models. It belongs to you and is used only to power your own persona.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

Deleting your account removes your data, with no ghost copies retained. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest while your account is active.
